The Fortieth Day

Three things to point out in this picture: Cait's face, Kevin being in what probably is the most comfortable position ever, and the Magner's nicely placed behind the couch.

The Thirty-Ninth Day

Katie and I had a really exhausting day. No really. She moved her whole bedroom into a house all by herself while I was v. busy sleeping. And then we went to Wawa for some Icees (also seen in the picture).

The Thirty-Eighth Day

Men playing on roofs. (Notice how cool the framing by the trees looks here.)

The Thirty-Seventh Day

That's 35 cents short of $100 to fill up the big van. And look at that snazzy camera in the reflection.

The Thirty-Sixth Day

Probably the most amazing and creative name. Ever.

The Thirty-Fifth Day

In a mere three days, we had frequented Dupont Circle and this Metro stop about 3,829 times. I wish I were exaggerating.

The Thirty-Fourth Day

Cosi needs to clean their windows. But really, how cool is that?

The Thirty-Third Day

I believe I have a cloud fetish. I also got Cait in there. Sneaakkyy.

The Thirty-Second Day

Cait is obviously very thrilled to see me for the first time in over two months.

The Thirty-First Day

The view from my favorite Metro stop (that'd be Rhode Island stop on the Red Line). Check out that Home Depot in the distance, a frequent and daily stop in my working life.

The Thirtieth Day

Muahaha. We had some volunteers today from Tennessee. And a few of them really enjoyed DC's timed Walk/Don't Walk signs. Is there an actual name for these things? Or are they simply known as Walk/Don't Walk Signs? Huh. Anyway, Happy Month!

The Twenty-Ninth Day

We went out to a little dinner for our last Tuesday night together. We sat in the pope room, and here's the Pope in a box, with a fox, and the locks....I chose this darker one cos I like that Christina is laughing it up.

The Twenty-Eighth Day

This is what happens when you go to work at 10:30am. No really. Everyone should go to work an hour and a half late.

The Twenty-Seventh Day

This is not an Eiffel Tower. On my walk from getting my Catholic on.

The Twenty-Sixth Day

So Jess and Drew came to help me out and get some hours today and, in this jungle of a yard, they find this half of a road sign. We did not steal it, probably like this boy would have, but I did take a nice picture. I love twofers.

The Twenty-Fifth Day

I got to take a few of the seniors out to a gala to celebrate how cool old people are. And it was at the Navy Yard. And by the time the seniors were spent, this was the view - it was 8pm.

The Twenty-Fourth Day

I thought it was really cool that you could see that National Shrine from the senior's house that we expertly mowed today.

The Twenty-Third Day

Christina accompanied me to Panera while I was trying to plan some of my future (while completely ignoring me and chatting it up on the phone). That's my five-year-old lappy there in the left corner.

The Twenty-Second Day

So I see these paw prints every day on my way home from work. I had to take them facing direct sunlight, so check out my looking-into-direct-sunlight-and-taking-a-close-up-picture skills.

The Twenty-First Day

Our sunflowers on a rainy day.

The Twentieth Day

Happy Mother's Day! This is my mom with Baby Luke. I fed Baby Luke all by myself today, well, with my mom closely watching making sure I do it correctly. But he loves those carrots. At one point, when my mom walked away for a quick second, Luke just grabbed the spoon from me and fed himself. So I let him eat all the carrots he desired. Apparently, six-month-olds are not supposed to feed themselves. Who knew. My mom yelled at me a little.

The Nineteenth Day

The Katies. One is a new graduate, the other is a new senior. And somehow the one taking the picture (that's me) graduated a whole year ago.

The Eighteenth Day

I love this girl. She's all grown up. With Jesus.

Thursday, May 8, 2008

The Seventeenth Day

Today you, dear reader, get two pictures! The first is me baking with Mr Guy. The second is the after picture from yesterday. Twofer!

Wednesday, May 7, 2008

The Sixteenth Day

Sometimes I sand walls. I also like how you can see the DCOA building straight through the windows. I didn't even plan that.

Tuesday, May 6, 2008

The Fifteenth Day

So my life for the past week or two has been seen through my glasses. Weee! Pollen!

The Fourteenth Day

"And you don't choose to be emo. Emo chooses you."

Sunday, May 4, 2008

The Thirteenth Day

So we went to a Nationals game today at their new stadium. And of course our seats are the last row in the highest section, and so it takes a while to walk up. And we walk up behind this cute old couple (who seem to eerily also match) holding hands the whole way, making jokes to people on how slow they are walking. So it just so happens that I end up walking behind them on our way out. And Jess says to me, "You should take a picture." And I decided that yes, I should. It's fate.

The Twelfth Day

TVC. Four of the Five.

The Eleventh Day

It's just so high! On my walk home from work...
